I finally read your history of the Afghan Hound in the Feb 2020 Canine Chronicle & was delighted to see that you referenced my old mentor Connie Miller. She was a dear friend and mental stimulator even though I was in a different breed. I still have the manuscript of her last unpublished work on gaze hounds. She would have so appreciated your clear-eyed, and well-written, look at the European history of the breed.
